Brother Arturo, a novice monk, was told to go clean the chapel. There, he saw a young woman who came from town to pray God and the Virgin. The young man could not help looking at her. His attraction for the young woman is not compatible with his vocation, which puts a strain on the young man.
This short story is one Youenn Drezen’s major works. It is inspired by the author’s personal experience in a seminary, that changed his life.
