Ober correspondence courses were created in 1932 by Marc'harid Gourlaouen (1902-1987). 5 levels in Breton. Initiation to Welsh (course taught through the medium of Breton). These Breton correspondence course give everyone the possibility of learning at home. They can also be used as a complement to other learning methods. Our courses are for both young and old who wish to discover, practise or improve their Breton language. Skills for Breton speakers, courses can be used to learn how to read and write Breton. There is the possibility of sending homework using e-mail (levels 1, 2 and 3 only). Homework is corrected, marked and sent back as quickly as possible by a team of 80 volunteers. Students who wish to study Breton courses, when their school/university don't offer any, can register. Their written work might be accredited by their institutions. Skol Ober courses are cheap. The only fees -beyond buying the necessary handbooks- are the correspondence expenses and a registration fee: 35 € normal tariff 20 € for students and the unemployed (please send written evidence) + 7 € to have the corrections by e-mail |
